You Think A Traffic Lawyer Can Help My Firend With This Problem?

Ok the story is the car that caught all the tickets(which adds up to more then 1500 dollars) was under my firends name but he never drove the car, he put the car under his name for his firend but forget about it years later…so you think a traffic lawyer will help him out to beat some or all of the tickets? thanks 4 the help guys n girls

The best he can hope for is that maybe his “friend”…and I use the term loosely, will admit that the tickets were his……OR…..maybe he can cut a deal with the judge.

what kind of tickets? Moving violations are usually issued to the driver regardless of whose car it is while parking / towing charges get sent to the vehicle’s owner.
Who knows what will happen, the laws very from city to city and state to state. Hopefully the car owner can prove he or she was not involved.
Law might allow him to get off the hook. I know some red light photo tickets can be canceled if you just claim you weren’t driving in my state. I don’t know about other traffic tickets. Different states might be different. I’d ask to see if there some claim form or look up state laws on that.
At the very least, your friend should get a consultation. They are usually free and will allow your friend to know what a traffic lawyer can do to help. We only cover New York State but, if you contact me, I will put you in touch with someone good who covers your area.
